 Results Day

Thursday 20th August 2020

Results should be collected by the candidate – if you cannot attend at the above time then we will post the results to you.

Results may be collected by a parent/carer provided the candidate has given prior written consent to the school.

Results cannot be given out over the phone.

Please note that the printed sheet of results and examination board results statements that you receive on this day are NOT certificates. GCSE Certificates do not arrive in School until November.

 Certificates

Certificates are presented at our annual Certificate Evening which is held in late November. Candidates who are unable to attend the evening may collect their certificates from Reception by appointment after this date. Certificates must be collected and signed for by the candidate. However, the candidate may provide prior written authorisation for a named person, eg parent/carer, to collect the certificates on their behalf. They will be required to produce a form of photographic I.D. at the appointment to collect.

These certificates are legal documents which will be required for college and university applications and job applications. Please keep them safe.

If your are a former student who did not collect your certificates please contact Mrs Crewdson, Examinations Officer, in the first instance to ascertain whether we still hold them and secondly to arrange a time to collect them should this be the case.   If you have lost your certificate/s and require replacement documentation you will need to apply directly to the relevant Awarding Body/ies who will charge in the region of £43.00 per certificate.
